Eider Elevators & Escalators started in 2013 as a small erection crew in Battrahalli. We manufacture, install, modernise and maintain lifts — and twelve years on we still do all four ourselves.

Battrahalli — survey, assembly and service all run from one floor.

The company is owned and run by Anand Gowda, who still walks most site surveys himself. That is deliberate. On a lift, the distance between what was promised at the survey and what actually arrives on site is where projects go wrong — so the person who quotes it is the person who answers for it.

We work from two offices in east Bengaluru and cover the whole job: new installation, annual maintenance, modernisation of ageing lifts of any make, and the statutory certification that lets you switch one on. There is no subcontracted crew between you and us, and the phone is answered seven days a week.

02 — What we are for

The promise,
and the plan.

Twelve years in, the company still turns on two ideas: that the person who quotes a lift should answer for it, and that a building in Bengaluru should never wait a week for a technician.

Our mission

To hand over lifts that are honest about what they cost and what they do. Every shaft is surveyed by the person who will quote it, every quote is line-item rather than a lump sum, and every lift is erected by our own licensed crew — no subcontracted phase, no borrowed licence, and no gap between what was promised at the survey and what arrives on site. The running licence is filed by us before handover, so the machine you take delivery of is legal to switch on the day it is signed off.

Our vision

To be the lift company Bengaluru calls first — whoever built the lift. We want the maintenance contract on machines we did not manufacture, because that is the real test: a building trusting you with the lift it already owns. That means modernising ageing equipment of any make rather than replacing it for the sake of a sale, keeping the parts that matter on the shelf, and growing the crew rather than the subcontractor list.
